• Cart and order data — items you add to your cart or wishlist, and details of orders you place (items, quantities, delivery day and time, and amounts charged).
• Local device data — while signed out, your cart is stored in your browser's local storage rather than on our servers.

3. How we use your information

We use the information above to:

• Create and maintain your account.
• Process and fulfil your orders, and show your order history.
• Communicate with you about your account or orders (e.g. order confirmations).
• Maintain the security and reliability of the service.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Product and pricing data

Product names, images, and prices shown on GetYourStaples are sourced from publicly available Woolworths and Coles listings for comparison purposes. This data belongs to the respective retailers; GetYourStaples is not affiliated with either retailer.

5. Data storage and security

Account, cart, and order data is stored using Supabase, a hosted database provider, with access restricted so that you can only read and modify your own data. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

6. Cookies and local storage

We use browser local storage to keep you signed in and to remember your cart and wishlist between visits. We don't currently use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

7. Your rights

You can review or update your account details from your profile page, or contact us to request a copy of your data or to have your account and associated data deleted.

8. Children's privacy

GetYourStaples is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service develops. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
